Toxicity: |
The LD50 is 300 to 400mg/kg for technical grade diazinon in rats. The inhalation LC50 (4-hour) in rats is 3.5 mg/L. In rabbits, the dermal LD50 is 3600 mg/kg.

Application: |
It is
a non-systemic insecticide with some acaricidal action. Main
application are in rice, fruit trees, vineyards, sugar cane, corn,
cotton, tobacco, potatoes, horticultural crops and coffee for a wide
rang of sucking and leaf-eating insects. Used to against flies in
the glasshouse and against flies and ticks in veterinary practice.
